Pilates changed my life!  I have suffered from daily chronic pain in my back, hips and neck for more than 13yrs.  As with most things, understanding was the first step to a long road of pain relief.  Lori's instructions in Pilates taught me how to use my body and my muscles (some I didn't know I had) so that I could do the things I love without the pain.  I use her techniques in my daily life and in all the activities I do:  yoga, acro yoga, skiing, hiking, biking, walking and even standing at my desk at work.  Lori helped me to activate my core in a way that I didn't know was possible.  I am forever grateful to her for providing me relief through education (and intense workout) in her Pilates classes.

I was referred to Lori from my physiotherapist, for a painful back problem.  Lori chose the right Pilates exercises for me, observing closely and providing me with specific help to gain the most benefit.  Within a year of wonderfully supportive Coaching and extensively knowledgable Pilates with Lori, at 79, I was enjoying an active lifestyle once again!

I joined Pilates as a way to hopefully lengthen, strengthen and improve flexibility for my lower back.  I didn't realise that my back was not the only part of my body that would benefit.  Lori's classes offer an environment of calmness, learning and support.  She has a unique way of making everyone feel important, safe and cared for.  Her classes helped my back to feel mobile, strengthened my core, and gave me peace of mind.  I now incorporate some of the Pilates moves into my everyday life, to keep my back feeling good!

I have been successful with other diet plans and fitness programs, but the results would never last.  Health Coaching has taught me that I need to modify my way of thinking about food and fitness, in order to maintain effective lifestyle change.  Lori helped me to focus on my mind and my thinking, in order to have a positive result on my body.
